Pumpkin Carving

Pumpkin carving is just a daddy kind of job.  At least in our house it is.  Last year when I was preggo, Michael pulled the whole thing off with no help from mom.  Not even a single picture. :(  He asked if I wanted to take a picture.  I declined.  Hmmm.....

We barely got our carving in this year.  I think we did it the Thursday before Halloween.  Halloween was on a Monday.  The kids didn't care.  They didn't care about lighting them every night....they just wanted to carve them and they were done.

We're past getting all crazy over the yuckiness of the pumpkins.  They are pretty okay with sticking their hands in and getting the job done.

Jake studying the designs.  After much consideration, he decided to go with a Wolverine "W" instead of the usual Halloween ideas.

He was very meticulous this year in his cleaning.  He worked a loooong time getting it just right.

 Somebody wants to help!
We tried to make him play in the GUTS...
but it only took one finger for him to decide "No Thanks!"
 Our finished jack-o-lanterns!
