I'm not much of a baseball fan. Stifling heat + tiny little rows to keep tiny little kids confined to + $5 bottles of much needed water does NOT equal fun in my book.
So glad I was wrong. We had a GREAT time! :) I didn't watch much of the game. In fact, I'm not 100% sure they actually played a game. I do know that every few minutes these hilarious characters from "So You Think You Can Dance" came onto the field and it was so funny to watch them dance!
We had a great time walking around downtown and in Falls Park and enjoyed a delicious dinner at Mellow Mushroom (where, by the way, toppings on large pizzas are a whopping $2.25 EACH!).
Ella Kate found her a ride....this girl's not doing any unnecessary walking!!
Waiting patiently to get into the ballfield...
I could eat this baby girl up! :)
We're in and we're ready for the game to start!!
This is how our girly girls spent the game....
Check out the handsome men we found on our row...
Oh, there must HAVE been a game going on out there... hehehe
Long about halftime...ah hem...excuse me, I mean after the 5th inning ( since there were 10 spaces on the board for a score I figured there must be 10 innings, therefore halftime would be after #5....then they informed me that they only played 9 unless there was a tie) Oops. :)
Anyway, halfway through the game, we escorted our very well behaved, quiet, and totally into the game children to the playground. Why don't football fields have playgrounds?? I think they should! Are baseball players smarter than football players??
Take me out to the ballgame, but make sure my friends are there to entertain me!!! :)
