This week was Apple Farm week at the kids' school. Ella Kate went on Wednesday and Jake went on Friday.
The 4 year old classes had to cancel their trip because rain was in the forecast for that day. It turned out to be a nice day, so Tracy and I took our kids and had a great time!!
Mom, can we eat these now?
The boys have their picture made with "Farmer Jesse" who drove the tractor!
I did get some strange looks at one point when I was alone with the boys....I guess I did look like mother of Quads!!! Look at all those blondies (who happen to be color-coordinated)! :)
Ella Kate got to take her trip with Brynn since they are both in 3 year old classes. They had a great time too! They were really into filling their bags up with apples. Ella Kate even tried to stuff a few in my purse! :)
This is the playground at the farm. Unique isn't it?! The kids LOVED them!
The girls didn't really like the smelly pigs. But the boys on the other hand, they weren't the slightest bit interested in them when we first arrived. They said they DIDN'T stink! That made them boring! :) Then when we went back later in the day and they were much stinkier.....they were all into them!!
We've made an interesting observation about our sweet little girls recently. When it's just the 2 of them and they're playing, they fight like cats and dogs. It's arguments and tears and drama to the hilt!! BUT, when they are around a group of girls (or boys for that matter), they are the best of friends. They stick like glue!!
They have a sisterly friendship I guess.....room to fight but, in the end, they really are best friends! :)
